RAISE AWARENESS
One of the hardest thing as a parent whose child is using violent and abusive behavour is knowing how or where to seek support. Many parents fear they will be judged or not believed, told their parenting is to blame.
By listening and not judging, encouraging the parent to seek support from organisations such as Capa, and letting them know they are NOT ALONE can help a parent break down those barriers.
